First Country Weekend!

It was a long weekend for us, as it's Memorial Day on the 27th of May and Tyler asked if I wanted to go home with him in Star, NC. That's where he grew up, and we'd be staying at his Mom's house.

I had a lot of firsts - saw fireflies, saw a falling star, ate homemade ice cream, ate country style ribs, ate deviled eggs and fried okra!

We also went cat fishing, also had water slides in the lawn!

Met a lot of people - his dad, his grandma, his aunt/uncle, his cousins, his nephews. And they were all good people.

He showed me his yearbooks - saw him when he's younger, haha... and how his friends push him to date a girl. LOL ( I didn't bother looking at how the girl looked like, darn I'm jealous, lol)
He won Best Smile back then - and of course, he has the best smile ever!!!!! I love that smile so much. :)

He has been so good to me the whole time, checked if I needed anything... we slept in separate rooms, and dang, I missed being with him in bed.

His mom showed me some recipes, and I'd definitely try them; she also gave us fresh vegetables form the garden - lettuce, cucumber and squash. Tyler and I made these fried squash, and they were real good! Also had some salad that he fixed out of those vegetables, and great too! (Thanks Kathy!)

I hope there's gonna be more weekends with him at home... experiencing the country life is really exciting.

We also had our first slight fight, not really, but we've said our sorry's and we're okay now. Just both of us were tired and sensitive, that we ended up not good in bed, but we made it up the next day. I really don't want that to happen again... I hate feeling bad facing my back on him entire night while sleeping (hurts my body too, haha, that's what I get, lol).

It was still all soooo great weekend...

My first time sleeping at his place on a weekday - I really feel happy at work, knowing I woke up with him beside me.

Wedding! (not mine, of course!)

Tyler asked me if I wanted to go with him to a wedding that he attended to today.. it's Daniel's friend's wedding (if I got it right) to be held in Charlotte... I said no, it's not a wedding of someone that's directly affiliated with Tyler, so ain't really think it's right for him to take me there...

Then.. he asked me again. He said he's going to a friend's wedding (who he went with to ECU), two weeks from now; to be held near his home, in front of a manmade lake, and an all night event! Yay! The description of the reception sounded soooo pretty! Will I finally be able to witness a country wedding??? Exciting!!!
I wish the bride walks in her cowboy boots, coz' if I'm the one getting married in a country wedding theme, surely be walking in my boots!!! Seriously!!! :)

In short, I said yes, I've said no once already, so, I should go with him this time. Anyway, it sounds nice!
I'd assume I'm his date, haha, lol!
Gotta get back to the gym and lose some lbs --- to fit in whichever dress I get to pick to wear. :)

Geez --- I might see his mom again! And get to meet more of his friends too! I hope I'd be fine, and that, they'd see me fine for Tyler. =)

Was watching NBA game, Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers. Heat was seriously losing big time and Lebron/Wade weren't really playing good tonight.. I was silently saying "Bobo"...

Then I told Tyler, since he's sitting beside me..

C: I'm gonna teach you a word..
T: What?
C: Bobo (pronounced as B-O-B-O, with the filipino enunciation)
T: Bo-bo, Bo-bo, Bo-bo (until he perfected it)
C: That means, dumb or stupid. That's why I was saying Lebron was bobo.
T: Ahhh.. Bobo Lebron, Bobo Wade, Bobo Miller, Bobo Heat!!
C: Hahahahahaha....

Massage!

Just watched a couple of back massage techniques in youtube... Tyler loves massage, he said I do good at it, actually improving (probably sucked the first time, lol)...

So - for him, I'm learning new techniques... I hope I make it right though.

Dinner Time!

Had dinner at Tyler's place... he prepared fish fillet sandwich (from our leftovers last Friday)... some fries... then the strawberry yogurt cake courtesy of his mom... Diet ruined (lol).. but can't help it, good dinner with good company. :)

He can actually pull off a dinner date at home. lol.

I find it sweet though.. but, maybe it's just normal for him to be like that with friends... (usssshhh!)
